These problem usually occurs when the battery make is not the one recommended by manufacturer (and a cheaper one). Check this one.
Also when starting a car switch off a/c, music, fan, lights... etc More power will go to starter motor.

The rotary engines are OK with the heat. I'ts just the market. You don't see lots of any Mazda here for some reason....

The post by kingkenny is the best I think. This is what our teacher in mechanics was saying. I personally never idle here. And the compression is 14-13,5-14-14,3 on 2002 engine that was never rebuilt
