Re: Cybershots 4.7L Stroker build up thread
from whom you getting it tuned???? I have to go with it on the dyno! The Unichip has some big advantages. You can run bigger injectors and most of the ECU blocks are accessable. Most of the Diabolo/ superchip are working with Stocksetting +1%/2%/3% etc You can't realy control the ECU. I have much t...

Re: Cybershots 4.7L Stroker build up thread
what did you do with ECU.....??? hope your break in time is about to finish. Right now it runs with the stock ECU and bigger injectors. It might runs lean in upper RPM, but for the break in (which I anyway don't reach upper RPM) it is OK. Later I want to go for this here. http://up.picr.de/6424748e...

I checked every 40-50 Km the engine and searched for leakages or lose hoses / cables. Seams to be OK. Temperature seam to be OK as well with 190-200 F i...

Re: EP82 Starlet,Jeep Wrangler JK
Nitto Dune Grapplers are great. STTs are noisy on the road and all that M/T tread helps dig you down in sand. But they do look cool and work at ridiculously low PSI. Yes that is truh! the Cooper STT are noicy onroad. But I think most of the offroad tirea are noicy. Exept the sand tires, which will ...

Re: EP82 Starlet,Jeep Wrangler JK
You don't need R&P till 34-35" tires. If you go for an 2,5" lift, I dought very much that this tires are ok for this lift. With 2,5" lift you need wide tires to prevent an death wobble (googel it and you will understand) This is an death wobble: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwiv23dLhMY&feature=pl...

Superb build; keep it coming!! The Jeep's I6 engines are some of the most outstanding engines out there.. God bless old school tuning.. Thanks ROJ Yes, the 4L inline are great engines. Like them more then the later 3.7 Jeep liberty KJ or the last Wrangler 3.8L. Never saw a cracked block or crank. P...

Re: EP82 Starlet,Jeep Wrangler JK
WKZ, I don't want to scare you, but from my expriance in offroading for now 4 years (2 times a months) I can tell you the JK front axle housing is weak. it is an dana 30 and even with factory size in my opinion criticl. If you want to prevent damages you can reinforce the axle with inner sleeves and...

Re: EP82 Starlet,Jeep Wrangler JK
Re-gear with bigger tyres and you'll be fine. There is no real point going above 31-32" IMO (for dune-bashing). Just get some near stock size Michelins with a 1.5-2" lift, good shocks, filter and you are good to go. To regear the R&P helps to the the lost tourqe back but not to prevent the axle hou...

Re: EP82 Starlet,Jeep Wrangler JK
Hey, it is just if you really go offroading with the Jk. If you manly stay onroad, nothing will happen! The JK has an Dana 35 front axle and factory fitted 32” tires. If you stay for this tire size, you are quite safe. If you go for 33” or even 35”, it is just a matter of time till the axle housing ...
