Re: Hyundai Coupe 05 Audio build log
Thanks everyone. But its makes me mad to say that this is far from over. Yesterday I had removed the entire stuff outta the car. One good this is I could remove everything without cutting a single wire. The box needs some internal bracing for sure. Due to the time constrains I couldnt test the capa...

Nice DIY Neo! (Y) As I have said I will try to help you by giving you inputs on how to improve your SPL score and at the same time not sacrifice the linearity of your sub or shall we say the good response of your sub. I hope you dont mind, can you please send me the TS parameters of you current sub?...

Re: Barbican TURBO Custom Car Festival 2009
You are right on the part of my box tuning being low, but this time i had tried to balance it in between deep bass and spl.. We will have another thread to that. I need to get something right and need your input. The 2loud competition might be around the corner. The box tuning is around 40hz. But i...

Re: Barbican TURBO Custom Car Festival 2009
It seems I didn't miss much, no one has anything NICE to say about this event! :D Neo, you were almost there, did you get the runners up position? LOL!!! runner up... if you look in that sense there should be classification for the competition. Like sedan class and SuV class. Coz due to cabin gain ...

Re: Gt35r on H22a
I believe a T3/T04 will be fine, or even the T28 bb turbo. Dont try to put a big turbo on a small engine unless youre planning to have all the power at the top, and willing to build your engine to rev very high to maximize the potential of the big turbo.
A TD05 or a T3 would be ideal too.

Re: Matt Silver Chrome Colour
How do you make a chrome into matte? Hmmm, a shiny silvery metal turned into matte so its like a stainless metal sandblasted to make the luster disappear. But chrome is known to have that certain luster, if made matte then its not chrome anymore thus the luster gone. lol  Well to each his own...

@toleg: Im fine thanks, how are the guys there? Wish I could go back there and meet you all again :D That would be a possibility, or they may have added a piggyback to the stock ecu, reason for the hp to go up slightly. Or I was thinking of a possibility too that from the manufacturer itself the act...

Re: Confused
Hey toleg can you post the link from where you got that information about a K20 from a dc5 has increased its HP when transferred to an EG hatch?
Coz I find it difficult to understand how it happened, as I understand it correctly the cars weight does not affect the HP and torque of an engine.

Re: Heat Up Problem !!!
If it works for you well and good, cant argue if it works for you. The best thing will be is to try to understand how the cooling system works and why it was "designed" that way.

Re: Heat Up Problem !!!
^no 'efficient temperature here bud, if you calculate by degrees, with a 3 core aluminum radiator, Flex a lite fans, no thermostat etc, we always still do run above the factory specified temperature... this climate is NOT cool... That is why there is such thing as gulf specs, euro specs, etc... Its...

Re: Heat Up Problem !!!
Just to add, low engine oil level contributes to engine heat-up too. Another alternative to engine coolant is the "Water Wetter" by redline oils which is considered much better than coolants. Removing the thermostat from the engine can sometimes lead to engine heat up too, specially during the hot w...

Re: Matt Silver Chrome Colour
I agree with lime, I believe chrome can never be "matte" because chrome was made to be shiny.
Choose between matte silver or chrome thats it.
