Re: What do you use? FireFox, Chrome, IE or a toaster ?
Every morning before I go on an exploratious safari , I use my chrome toaster to fire up a fox for breakfast while listening to opera . ...uhuh. I think I got everything. Anyway for real, I always use FF. When I come across a site that's broken in FF, I use IE. Also I use my phone browser a lot. <-...

Re: First car suggestions
Well it's been a week and so far so good except for a few things I could use experienced opinion about. My main concern is on highways to cruise at 150 km/h the engine has to constantly rev at 4500. I'm wondering if that would wear down the engine too much. Max power is at 6000 revs and redline star...

Re: Radars in Dubai (General Information)
Dubai radars are still 140 (up until a bit past Dubai Marina Mall. it's 120 going into the city from there). I usually speed up to 150-160 after a radar then air/engine brake 200m before the next radar and I'm fine even when the speedometer says 145 (I'm not going to try any faster than that. If you...

Re: First car suggestions
I finally bought myself a car. It's a 2008 Peugeot 207 rc, shark gray, 5 speed stick shift, 1.6 i4 turbo, and so far I'm liking it a lot. Very responsive acceleration at any speed and tight around corners. That it comes with bucket seats standard doesn't hurt. Found it online after much looking. Har...

Re: First car suggestions
Thanks for further suggestions! I browsed for IS300 and G35. I like the V6 and FR, but they are a bit pricey (55-60k is good though - where do you find that?) and have only auto shift, so I'm going to stick to hunting for v6 altimas. Ozimandius, I don't need a 4WD because 1, I'm single and don't nee...

Re: First car suggestions
I originally thought a smaller car would be a good idea because I don't need to fit a family into it and the lighter the better for handling, but two people here and one in person have told me to get a 6 cylinder for smoother highway drives. You're probably right, so I'm revising my list. I don't mi...

First car suggestions
Hi new guy here. I just moved to Abu Dhabi and need to buy a car. I'm looking for suggestions and advice to get a good deal. Who am I? -I am not very experienced. I've driven the family car. Never got into a race. -But I am a fan of auto racing (autocross, toge, circuit, rally, NOT Nascar, NOT drag)...
