Re: Banshee Engine Rebuild
:) We'll see... The engine gurus in Al Ain think a torque wrench is something to reach deep inside their nose and pluck that last nose hair before it becomes throat! Absolutely no precise measurement, pure experience... in fact, one of my goals was to observe and photograph the procedure from someon...

Re: Banshee Engine Rebuild
Got to supervise like a hawk, man - don't want my brand-new parts falling to the side and a rebuilt one going in "by mistake"... Sanaiya has many tricks, buddy. Got to be there in person...

Re: Banshee!
Yeah - way cheaper. Get one with a broken engine but a good frame and basically you'll have a brand-new bike for less than 10k!
Also, comparing fun, I've got to say there's not much else more fun than screaming around on a banshee!!! It really gives you a buzz... pretty intense

Yeah, bud - that's me! Safety gear courtesy of a friend - he didn't use it anymore and so kindly passed it on to me. That's a nice thing about car dudes: always ready to help out a buddy! 8) I'm slightly more muscular than him... especially around the stomach... and so I took the pants in to the ten...

Banshee Engine Rebuild
Couple of weeks ago I supervised the engine re-build for my banshee: from the previous owner it had a jammed crankshaft bearing which destroyed a piston and cylinder - so I had a complete rebuild with parts I purchased myself, and under my very eye every minute of the process. The shop: http://lh3.g...

Banshee!
Well, almost completed the break-in for my banshee! 8) Today I rigged up a thermometer to help me keep an eye on the radiator; I already have the mod that feeds an external overflow bottle, like in cars. I also glued on a compass, just cause I like to not have to rely on GPS completely. Still have t...

SportLux Venza for SEMA
Here we have a transformed people mover, now turned into people flyer by Street Image. They’ve done this in the interests of high-performance fans, but primarily for the lucky sods arriving at SEMA 2008 this November. You’ll be able to spot it by its special kit that includes a rear hatch spoiler, a...

Renaultsport Megane 09 rendering
Now that we’ve seen the look of 2009 Mégane coupe, it may be useful to speculate as to what the Renaultsport 2009 Mégane will look like. It is after all, the flagship of the range and carries with it the hopes and dreams of Renault fans all over, looking to show it up to sales leaders like Golf GTI ...

Re: Air Filters
Exactly, plus you might even find out the intake is already optimized for your stock engine and that you really won't get any gains - so then you can manage your available modding budget accordingly. Jazz for instance does not particularly benefit from a high-flow filter. So it's better to spend the...
