Re: Air Filters
And a really funky way is to suck air from a hood scoop. While that used to be excellent for carbs (yes, I'm showing my age! :) ) it's no longer popular. Now that my friend is true ram-air. :D usaf23, you're welcome man. I'll keep an eye open; though i recommend you ordering one overseas instead. T...

Re: VW golf gti 2007
The GTi is definitely better value for money and weighs much less. Plus since it's already got a factory turbo, a lot of the piping is in place, better for modding. If you take the 30,000 dhs price difference between a gti and an r32 and spend it on the gti, you'll get a much faster car. I suppose t...

Re: Becoming a Tuner
I think Tamu hit the nail on the head when he said that experience helps a lot. Another important thing to keep in mind is research, and applying it in real life. The first thing that popped into my head when you said "tuning" was how to use and setup a piggyback ECU to tweak your air/fuel ratio? I'...

Re: Grounding kit
Dude, i'm pretty sure if we do some research we can do it ourselves. If you're worried about short circuits, we should be find if we unhook the negative terminal. Let's just do some reading on our cars and we'll be fine. I'm also in Jebel Ali btw. SPARKY - DO U LIVE IN BUILDING 86 ?????????? :| is ...

Re: Air Filters
To be honest looking at the pictures, you'd be better off ordering the CAI from that site. The part where your mass airflow sensor connects is a part that's difficult to custom-fabricate. Btw, stay away from Fox/Skyline Exhaust, they will rip you off.

Re: Air Filters
You need to custom-make it, man. we have a reference pic of how it should bend so if we could find the right size pipes with the right angle, we could make it. http://www.speedlab.com.ph/installations/intake/mazda3cai/02.JPG The problem is that the 1.3 Mazda3 is very rare so not a lot of companies m...

Re: shocking accidents
No offence Tamu, but if we wanted to see this stuff there's already tons of violent websites on the net that are very easy to find. I know at least you were decent to warn us about the content of the site which is appreciated, but like the guy above said, accidents happen; God forbid if they ever ha...

Re: Air Filters
Dude, i just got your email. I've looked a bit and found out how to apply an intake to your car. It involves removing a lot of the stock plastic crappy piping in your bay. check the pics below for comparison: Stock Air Box (your car's pic): http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/4656/withoutintakemx1.jp...
