Where do you guys usually have your car washed?
Do you wash it on your own? Do you have it washed for like 10 to 15 bucks? Or do you go to a good place that does all the heavy-duty washing.
Whenever I want to have the engine and the underside cleaned, I go to the Sharjah Auto Service Center. Do you guys go there too?

If there aren't any naked electric cables in the engine bay, any manual car wash will do. The private car wash in Emarat near Dubai bowling Center in Al-Qouz is good. But I suggest steam engine wash, good for old cars like mine, Emarat on SZR near 3rd interchange and the one near garhoud bridge(sharjah direction) have them. Or there is this new place on barsha road near 4th interchange(SZR) called Wheel 2 Wheel, never been there but they did an amazing job on my uncle's 92 mazda 626 capella.TNT wrote:Since this topic seems appropriate, I only want to get the engine bay washed. Where do I go?
I went for a wash tonite @ National Lube & what i always do is wrap my K&N filter with a nylon bag every time for an engine wash... Now for the 1st time i forgot to remove the bag and started the car for some 5 seconds, then suddenly remembered and went out to remove it.. Now my cone filter has a waist in the middle of it... I checked fro any opening or crack but its fine just doesnt look much like a proper cone anymore..

ok guys lets get this clear
kinds of wash
1- Full wash ( includes body + engine if you want ) usually from 25-40
2-steam wash ( body water + engine steam ) usually 100+ dhs
3-quick body wash usually from 20-50 dhs
prices differ from car was to another.
the car wash i go to is Grand Central Station next to mulla plaza
great service ,, high quality stuff ,, i was my car + rim steaming and engine blowing with air and wipe ( + if i want polish) for 35 DHS which is good.
