nope Ozi, you have a 4 week grace period to renew the insurance and registration as you're still insured to drive on the road

Yep there is a 1 month grace period. If you go over the grace period, make sure you take off that tiny square sticker that mentions the month and year of expiry. These patrol cars will catch you anyway, but you can avoid many random regular cop cars.

Final radar at the end of AD highway, that flashes at 120, has been removed.

On my way back from Auh a mp4-12c was flashing its way through traffic,just as it entered in dubai i was to be flashed out of my way, so I let it pass. But he slammed the brakes as he thought it was radar & I driving a camry, overtook him & came in front of him,said "hello" with indicators as we passed the radar. He did not flash me again just overtook me from right & went his way a wiser man.

It was a black Mclaren with a sheik behind its wheel.The only one i have seen on road.

hello there. such an interesting forum. and this has been while so im not sure if i will get any attention. but there is one qoute that i could not resist to disagree. its says " Speed Kills, but it gets you there fast" o com'on really? I mean, how fast? i drive everyday AUH-DXB and back. 100km each way. this is a fact, an additional 20kph on my speed will gain me about 6.5 mins. now thats not even equal to the time you spent on the toilet. why would you want to risk everything for 6.5mins? if you want to get there early then heck! leave early and avoid putting other people at risk.! i wonder if the one who started this thread is still alive? hello? there?! anyone?

Relax, I was being sarcastic. I'm actually a pretty safe driver and always stay within the limits
