Have anyone dealt with RTA to acquire any permits for having any kind of visual or performance modifications on their cars? Specifically in Dubai..

done that for my turbocharged ,body-kitted Honda Van ... I did pay that extra 1000 dhs but it got my car registered with no problemaas ;)

dude ... i remmeber the car n everything ... question is how do u get official permission to put mods such as exhaust n turbo n stuff ???

Besides, SoarerTO4R seems to be dodging the question......


I am almost certain I saw this car parked at Tasjeel in Aweer collecting dust just a few months back. Looks like you turned it around (Y) What engine/output is it running? Would love to know more info!

I think the RTA gives you spcl permission only if the car is meant for auto shows or stuff like that ... Nd wasta yes very much or else we wud be seeing every 3rd car in uae modded either by indians..pakis...pinoys...arabs...etc....you would be hearing more blow offs than horns hehe ...
