i don't know if this is the right place for this thread so if it has to be moved then please feel free to do so.

okay. here goes.
i have owned my 2006 civic for almost 5 years now. i never had oil change / service anywhere but at trading enterprises.
now here's the catch:
lately, whenever i take the car for service, the agent assigned would call me and report of any anomalies in the car. and if there were they would charge me extra. and i usually set aside fixed amounts for paying for their service.
so far the only 'anomaly' i paid for was the engine mounting repair. since i care about the engine so much i had to pay them a grand extra. actually it was around 2 grand since it was also a major service. so when i got the car back, the front suspension feels uneven. it is noticeable whenever i drive over speed bumps.
now there are two anomalies they reported sometime back but i didn't have them take care of it since i was short on funds. and those reported anomalies don't seem to be 100% true.

1) they said the rear right window does not function. and they were charging me a grand extra. i didn't have money so i left it as it is. the window didn't work until i finally reached home. so... all 4 windows work now. i just have to open and close them whenever i start the car to keep them from deteriorating.
2) they said my ac needs to be fixed and they were charging me a grand more. when i got the car back the ac was not cooling... until i noticed the thermostat not in the maximum cooling level.

are there actually retards working at trading enterprises right now?! are they actually lying to people so they can get more money?!
that's why i need to see a civic specialist if possible.

You don't need a specialist to work on a Civic, they are popular cars. Just look for a good garage.
Try Fast track.

^ This is definitely true. Trading Enterprises are an absolute bunch of wankers. I have a 2005 model Civic and it has always been serviced at TE. After the last service which was a major one at 45k. I have vowed not to go back to them. There are definitely some clowns in there. They charged me 1500 and all I can see that they have done is changed the engine oil, filter, transmission oil, power steering fluid. They couldnt even fill up the windshield washer fluid. They couldnt check the brakes because I had different Lug nuts on. The actual fact is that the tool to remove the lug nut was handed over to the service rep but he lost it. The service manager has offered to refund the cost of the tool. I didnt create too much of a scene because it being Ramadan I was being very patient. But I am definitely not going there again.

CRAPTASTIC = Trading Enterprises

I am going to Dynatrade for my next service.

Fast Track are a bunch of greedy muppets too. Don't be surprised if you take your car there, and then receive a call saying they'll only perform further repairs after you change the oil and air filter! They did that with my Eclipse, and now with the Cherokee.

well finally someone notices their Flaws

iv been servicing my honda since 1999 with trading enterprises till 2008 and then stopped. I recently gave my car to honda for a full check up as they call it for a good sum of cash.

Everything seemed finein the car but they said they would love to give my car a Repaint for 12,000AED .
i smiled and said thanks but no thanks.

Since then, iv been hearing a rattling noise within the Cabin. I havent gone bak yet to complain but they would say they had nothing to do wit it, in the inside of the car. SO i plan on finding out myself.

Trading ENT use to be good - once upon a time in the old days. Helpful, and professional. now they lie to you and make you change that part.

Try Fast Track, but they are pretty much pricks as well.
One place i went to was MAX garage. i think their really really good. you should visit them and see if your comfy with the environment. you'l be surprised with the cars parked in there. Those kinda cars = they know their Stuff.
or finally, Al taief in sharjah.

fast track = no way

best bet is still trading enterprise (you just need to be more vigilant) the rest lies to you.

you can bring it to any local shop as long you know them and you know your stuff.

Those people talk too much.. They just like giving you an excuse to pay for something and profit on it..
Go to any good garage with a good reputation... Even if it charges a little bit extra, will be worth it..

wow! a lot of replies in one day! :)
yeah, that's my story, guys. even though they said the rear window and the ac have problems, everything is working fine now. the ac just doesn't cool right away because it's summer. and it takes a while for the coolness to kick in.
heck, when i brought the car for service recently they didn't say anything about the rear window. maybe when i go back next time they won't say anything about the ac.

say. where is dynatrade located? are they that good? and where's al taief? are they that good too?
trust me. this country needs honda specialists just like how mazda needs rotary specialists.

^Not really, there are loads of Honda specialists around. Only thing this country needs is lower prices and lesser dealership muppets.

Lap57 can handle Hondas and a lot more, but their prices would not be sensible for a stock car like your civic.

There is a new one in Dubai which is on the Oman - Hatta Road towards Ras Al khor from Emirates road. They are quite good and cost efficient. I am going to try Al Taief next I guess.

Dynatrade = Toyota :wink:

I've done similar research to find good places.
Lap is the closest I've found. They might be more expensive than Fast Track or some stupid sharjah place, but the guys know their work..... If you have a Honda, its the place to go (Y)
