Hey guys,
I have had my license for 2 years now and i finally am going for a bike, So im new to bikes, im pretty decent behind the wheel but am less confident when it comes to bikes and dont want something too powerful.
I used to ride a ducati, was 600cc n i had to get down at signals to take u turns, the turning radius was useless and im no pro to bend n take the u turn .... so im looking for something with decent power and a proper turning radius. Dont want to kill myself jus yet tho
I liked the Yamaha Fazer F6 or something looks good turns decent n good power, but not too sure whether its ok for a beginner like me or should i consider the ninja 250cc ... it will b a DD so everything tht needs to b considered needs to be considered by ur expert views n mine as well
Let me know of good options n good bikes if u come along those as well and where to look for and what to look for !
P.S. I DONT WANT A PULSAR or ANY DELIVERY BIKES

I guess 600cc Bikes should do good for a beginner, The best of the lot would be GSXR 600, then would be honda 600CBR and then a R6.

Yeah they are good bikes if you wanna kill yourself ^^
He is already complaining of 'turning radius' and you guys are suggesting SuperSport category bikes.

Yamaha FZ6R would be ideal.

A friend of mine has a Ninja 250R and trust me you'll get bored of it quickly. It is quite easy to outgrow the 250. The FZ6R aka Fazer is a great learner's bike. Yes it is 600cc too, but has a mildly tuned engine and a much less sensitive throttle (less jumpy throttle) compared to R-Spec 600s.
It won't punish you if you make a mistake.
About the turning radius, taking U-turns like that is something that comes with being a biker. If you weren't comfortable doing them on a naked Ducati, I doubt you'll find anything easier.
Practice is best and watch a few how-to videos to execute it properly.

The Ducati has a senseless turning radius ... actually unreal for a noob like myself !

Its not worth riding on two wheels in this part of the world where people don't know how to share the roads with bikes. You can have your fun with ATVs though

I would happily get a bike if I could. It is a whole different experience. Dangerous yet sublime.

So for a while I thought it wud b cool to practise on my cousins ducati ...I riding from hamriya to twar ... I c tht 2 arabs find it really cool to intimidate me ... Or rather run me over ...5057 patrol. 22151 silverado ... I m no the guy who goes out without a fight but I'm stupid to fight. A tank wid a sword in my hand ... This has really brought doubts. Of buying a car ... I'd have hought them a lesson if I was in a car ...let's hope the next few days r not as bad ...
