do not buy AIT kits as they are such a pain to have fitted properly...you will get uneven gaps everywhere and if your body guy is not skilled well enough you will end up paying more just to get the kit fitted versus getting a quality kit...I am speaking from experience too

Thanks Ashwin (Y)
4drsupra, thanks for telling me! Actually the AIT doesn't look good, so I'm not planning on getting it

What ever kit you buy make sure about the reviews of the company along with customer installed pictures.

Stillen is a nice company and are the only ones offering kits in urethane. Their 370z bumpers had issues but nothing a bodyshop can't fix.

If you are buying in fiberglass better get in FRP which is reinforced fiberglass. Choose a bodyshop which specialise in bodykits as it's a different process altogether then fitting any OEM parts. It's better to buy from a good company whose quality is nice else

Thanks a lot docaam! I just searched online for problems with the Fasvia stillen body kit, apparently there are some fitment and gap issues in the body kit... And to be honest that scared me a bit... I don't want the body shop to start drilling holes in the body! :|
I guess I have to look for something else...

the problem with kits in general are the inconsistency of how they are made...here is the difference...

replica kits are made for quantity not quality therefore the same mold is used over and over again thus further down the line creating so mucbh imperfections in them versus the more expensive kind...

the HKS, Blitz, vertex just to name a few it takes them months to get you a body kit as everything is made to perfection and a new mold is used for every kit they make...

thus the saying you get what your money and time is worth...

good luck with the hunt though...
