I did it again - Letter Of The Week.
I think it is great to see Hyundai and Kia slowly but surely becoming mainstream brands like Toyota, Nissan and Honda.
In fact, I find most of their new models very attractive and affordable. And they are certainly not lacking in performance or technology either. I am quite tempted to buy a new Kia Cerato or Optima, a Hyundai Elantra or Sonata. I think all four are very decent cars.
However, there is just one factor that is holding me back from considering one of those desired cars and that is the lack of Kia and Hyundai service centers in Sharjah.
If ever I decide to buy one of those cars, I'll have to go to either Abu Dhabi, Dubai or Ajman to get it serviced.
This would mean extra transportation expenses since I live and work in Sharjah.
My question is, why are there no Kia or Hyundai service centers in this emirate?
Those two brands have been around for two years so they should have a service center in Sharjah by now!

However... no prize.

I called Gulf News this morning.
It appears that they have not been giving away prizes for the past few weeks.
