What might be next is high-end tuning shops(mostly owned by the biggies themselves) being given the permission to carry out modifications and they charging us shit loads of money for it. Bin Sulayem Performance has been doing it for a couple of years now, Patrols boosted by them are legal...they charge around 30k from what I've heard. This is just what I think might happen but it would be great if they setup guidelines for other workshops to be certified to carry out modifications because afaik most of the tuning shops don't even know how to spell safety.

Sharjah has already been hit hard. I fear this is the beginning of the end.

Also does anyone else find it a little hypocritical that just a few weeks ago sharjah was hosting tunning festivals and no permanently taking a car if it has an exhaust! Common when had a loud exhaust ever caused an accident? In fact loud exhaust have probably save a few pedestrians lives in this country.

I have been told why these laws got put in place I will not post detail on a public forum. In saying that I have heard 2 different versions of the story. There is a chance it will blow over.
