shj confiscating Mod cars and not returning them

I've came across some articles recently about Sharja Police randomly stopping cars and looking their hoods. once they confirm that these cars have modifications done in their cars, they confiscate them forever ! and that they have confiscated 20 cars last april on their trial run of the campaign ,.. and the anti modification campaign is now being supported by dubai and abudhabi.. they also said that a nation wide implementation of the law was to start last june 10 ... did you guys heard about this sh!t? and ironically dubai police is sponsoring the Mod cars and bike show on friday ... WTF ?
they also failed to give guidelines on what modifications are they looking for,.. like i only have a cold air intake on a mitsubishi eclipse 2003 , is that illegal ?
