Salam-alaikum people, i'm new to the forum and have been spectating for a while.
A little about myself, i'm getting my license day next week & i'm looking forward on purchasing a second hand car, i need your suggestions on what ride to get. My budget? Around 60k-80k depending on the make. Insurance & registration will be done on my mother's name thus less insurance cost.
A few things about me:
Fuel consumption isn't a problem, the government is paying for it.
Salik likewise the above.
I have experience with control, i don't over-speed; been driving for the past three years without license.
I'll be making trips from Dubai - Abu Dhabi & vice versa on a regular basis.
My current idea is to go for a mustang 2011 v6, someone has quoted be a good 43k price tag on it, imported from america & done 35k kilometres mileage.
Feel free to leave your suggestions below, thankyou for your time

Speaking from experience, the car is cheap for a reason so I suggest you run its chassis number/VIN number by Autocheck or Carfax.com. There is a very high chance it was a salvage or flood-damaged or totaled.Prestige wrote:Salam-alaikum people, i'm new to the forum and have been spectating for a while.

Hello,
Mustang is nice, as mentioned above run it through CarFax (as you should always do) and visually inspect it. If it looks overly worn (especially for a 2011 model) then you might want to take a second look. Take it to someone good with cars (ie. reputable mechanic) and ask them if they can find any faults with the vehicle.
There was also a Corvette posted on the forum with somewhere around the same price tag, so you might wanna check that out.
All the best.

If the Mustang is in Awir/Ras Al Khor Car Market, then don't take it to any garage that the seller recommends. When selling my car, I made the mistake of taking it to a garage the prospective buyer recommended.
