i would probably still go for a Lancer, even if given the choice of a BMW Z4.

Cheaper to run, maintain and you only spend 40K and manage to keep another 60K to buy another project car :P

Sry - i dont trust BMW's - seem to be overrated (except the M5) and are known to have issues - sometimes small - but still irritating. :)

Brand new Z4 3.0si will set you back AED185k, so, I guess if you buy 4 lancers, you can still keep some cash :D

I would only consider the new Evo IX but too bad it doesn't come with tiptronic. :?

you should learn how to drive a manual car .... its like the saying -

"once you go black - you never go back" -- but changed a bit...

"once you can shift, you aint never gonna quit~!"

it's too difficult to get a manual licence in AUH. They pretty much fail everyone who attempts the manual driving test!! :(

Well, it is cheap in maintenance as well, which is not unimportant. I drove the manual one, and as I said before, it's a fun little car.

Get it, you won't feel bad about it. You get the warranty and maintenance deals and such, because it's a new car.

Hey Mikeh! come on man... try to understand... when you dirve a BMW in daily life and have a large pocket, psycologicaly you wont like a cheap car comparing to BMW... this is a normal issue... :)

And EVO with Auto/Triptronic!!!??? :| ... better continue with BMW, dont demand an EVO girl...

At last... good luck compaq777
