I am looking for a few upgrades for my 2001 Chevy Lumina S(V6) ...........nothing big :| ..just a few more ponies....

I was thinking about starting off with Performance plugs/Wires and headers........as well as filters....

I have tried couple of dealers..including Ramy trading....but in vain :D ....they claim to stock parts only for an SS(V8).

Does anyone have a clue or ideas.....would appreciate it guys....

thanks

Brainbug, try getting in contact with Performance MotorSpares. Email at webmaster@performanceclub.net for the list of parts they can provide for the Lumina SS.

Hope that helps.

The basic bolt-on upgrades would be: Cold Air Intake, Headers and a catback.. Including new wires and sparkplugs.. I don't know about availability but maybe you can check for new cams, intake manifold..

That's give you some more.. If you'd be addicted to more power you can put a supercharger or turbo on your engine.. I think the V6 can be twin turbo'd easily (longitude engine position? i think so)..

Though I'm afraid more stuff exists for the SS (pontiac GTO in the US)..
