we're both 10 bhp out...its actually 170.... the 2ZZ GE in the corolla XRS used a different map to the celica. It was tuned to give more mid range power at lower revs

the scion iz a nice rare car ... xclusive absolutely ... waz going for 1 b4 the celica... but donno y ... seemd lyk a bad re-sale
i have had similar issues when going for the celica ... the parts n all availability...
give u a better sugestion ... go for the celica GT-S ... it haz the 2ZZ-GE engine + the 6 gear stick... thtz 180 hp 4 a 1080 kg car ... got an attractive looking shell on it ... but yeah the only issue iz wid importing the mods ... thtz if ur planning for sum ...

No progress yet mate, feeling kinda fed up. seem to waste most of my weekends wondering around abu shaggara looking at cars which have had their mileages tampered!
I saw a nice IS300, 2004 model black, asking price 65k but the mileage was not genuine.... speedo had obvious signs of tampering but it was a really nice car!
I think i may just go to Al Futtaim and put my name down for a black Corolla GLi Sedan with leather seats...
