Salik tag placement?

I heard that you can actually affix this to your dashboard and still be fine for the salik gates, is that true?

I hate that ugly orange thing on my windshield!

I guess I could always scotch tape it there and drive through a gate and see if I get fined I guess .

Well first of all lemme explain tht it is not necessary tht u should stick the tag on ur windshield, even if u keep the tag inside ur dashboard and pass through the toll gate u wont be getting any fines and the money will be deducted from the SALIK tag....or if ur having doubt so u can just keep the tag on the windshield for a while and pass through the toll gate u wont be getting any fines...coz of the radioactive rays the tag is easily readable when u pass through the toll gate...

But guyz do not use the same tag for different carz in that case you guyz will be violating and will end up paying fines!

just before anyone gets any fines....
i kept the tag on the dashboard, n received a fine of 300Dhs in total.
it did not work.
i guess for some it does and for some it doesnt.
i took the risk n ended with a fine.
n it never shows on the Police site. whats new

mind was stick on the windshield before ... then i remove it and stick in a plastic card for protection..
and kept in the dashboard...
so far its okey...
but the sticker says.. that removing it after sticking it might damage the salik tag or might not work..
is it true

salkick sensor is expecting the tag to be in a certian angle for it to be picked up ..if the object does not have a tag it knows to take a picture of license plate...computers are pretty stupid.
