Hey guys,

this weekend (thurs morning) i'm flying to dubai to spend the weekend..

I will check the car in the afternoon, and if everything checks out I will pay the man and proceed..

what do u suggest is the best way to get it to Bahrain?

Bear in mind I cannot Drive the car myself thru saudi (non GCC passport)

Should I take it to any showroom and have them change the name and arrange for shipping?

Should I have a showroom change the name, and then I arrange shipping?

should I go to the traffic Dept myself? and arrange shipping myself?

is the whole thing a difficult or time consuming procedure? I fly back Saturday afternoon, so I have to have it all done on thurs.

as for shipping what is the best option?

the only ones I know of or thought of so far..

is:

1.)Transport it on a flat bed
2.)Transport it on a 6 Car trailer (you have to wait for 5 other cars before it will disembark) cheaper then going alone tho
3.)Transport it by Sea in a container
4.) Pay someone to drive it back for me (I dont trust them tho, I'm worried the car will get abused, or damaged on saudi roads)

What do u guys suggest or Reccomend?

Thanks!

being a non - GCC national, can't you apply for a Saudi visit or Transit visa to pass through?

I don't really want to show up on the border and find out the hard way tbh

plus I can't read arabic.. and finding my way through convoluded KSA seems like a nightmare..

my bahraini friends tell me how hard it is.. and how terrible the road surfaces are as well..

not to mention dangerous

^^ I wouldn't have the slightest clue. However, may I suggest that you fly down on a weekday.

It is likely that transport companies will be closed on the weekend, making it even more difficult for you to get the car to Bahrain.
