Sharjah, by far, is the most annoying place [no offense ]. This is in concern to the car rules. Basically, if you don't follow the simplest rules of the road and the society, you'll end up getting a fine or if you're really lucky, you might end up in jail .
so a big request to everyone out there who reads this....pls, FOLLOW THE RULES OF THE ROAD, ESPECIALLY IN "SHARJAH".
P.S. - all rights and norms are reserved to me

Haha, none taken. It truly is in an archaic universe of its own.

I think I got fined today by an absolutely wanker (cop)!! I was changing lanes coming from Umm Ramool going towards Deira before the exit to Al Garhoud Bridge. This copper was standing there and wiggling his fingers at me and noted down my number. I didnt cross any yellow or white solid lanes, was indicating, was not speeding, was wearing my seat belt, was not on the phone. Have no friggin clue why??

Yup! I always use indicators. I was not even speeding, was driving the work ute. My mate who had just passed by a few mins ago also was noted down apparently. I think the cops just note down people randomly on the road every morning.

Waitaminute, another wanker cop noted down my colleague's number as left an underpass near Clock Tower. He doesn't know why, I'm guessing either speed or the fact that he changed lanes, which by itself is fine (as in Ok, lol), unless he (or in this case, you) changed lanes on a solid line and not a dotted one?

The Clock tower roundabout is Crazeeeeeeeeee!! There are cops all the time and you cannot, absolutely cannot change lanes in the R/A. You need to be in the correct lane before you get into the Roundabout.

I had to change a lane there few days ago, after double checking for cops. It's a shit roundabout, and immensely confusing.

That is cos the entry and exit angles on the R/A's in Alain are next to impossible. Especially for the people in Fast lane. Sharjah has a fair share of Roundabouts mind you!!
