Hello everyone. new member here.

Bought a 06 honda accord which was given a clean bill of health by the dealer. After i bought the car i realized the 120 kmph beep beep beep is driving me crazy considering i do a lot of highway driving

can anyone suggest where to take it to get it removed? (no not the dealer) need someone who knows what they are doing, not some roadside mechanic in shj. would appreciate any help
thanks

try Lap57.

Most of their mechanics are ex-honda. Would probably try calling and seeing if they can do it first

Lap 57 is behind Safeer Mall. It's in the Industrial area behind Safeer.

to everyone that suggested turn up the music, thanks. my question was specifically how to remove the beep. if the music is turned up, how will i have a conversation with other passengers in the car?

im sure there are others with Hondas who are in the same situation as me. Post up where you got it removed. Will be checking out lap57 soon.

I'm sure there are instructions to do this online. One member (Kartoos) shared with us a procedure to remove the chime on his Lexus IS300, for instance.

Yeah I did post the Instruction for removing the Chime but that was for the seat belt. I have tried to remove the seatbelt chime on the Honda and the the very annoying beep for the 120kph on the Honda but I havent found any soft hacks. I just do not go faster than 120 in the Civic. Isnt meant to go fast.

The Lexus thankfully does not beep more than a few times.
