if you are in AUH.Try to visit our shop. we got good combination sets which starts from 2.5k including install HU not included...installation will take approximately within the day. Below is the picture of the kit that includes everything front speakers, wiring, amplifier, 12subwoofer boxed with grill and blue lighted with plexiglass etc..except for the HU.

The installers in sharjah are pretty awesome (Sarcasm).
I had many customers buy stuff online from my store and install in sharjah only to get a terrible experience. I really wonder why basic installation is so tough for audio installers.

You should consider visiting Shops in dubai like GWT if you want a decent job done.

I can help you with hand picked components for your vehicle which you can take to your installer.

It boils down on how will you stretch your budget. I suggest try the Infinity Kappa Series components and subwoofer then powered by Infinity Reference 7541A - you can get them in Harman House Naif or in Dubai Mall. For fabrication, you can go to GWT(Car Audio People) in Al Quoz. By the way, what type of set up do you prefer SQ or SPL?

Do not buy paper/coaxial! Buy an HU with a proper DAC, a 2 channel amp, and component speakers. They'll make a huge amount of improvement on the SQ.

It'll cost above 800 if you add in installation costs.
Not all coaxials are bad, in the end you get what you pay for. For eg. A proper set of 500 dhs coaxials will out-perform a cheap set of components.

I will go for 2 way components, it cost around 400 to 500. Before Neo had Focal Access 165A1, this is a good SQ speakers for an entry level. The advantage with component speakers is you can mount your tweeter as per your preference unlike coaxials - tweeters are mounted on the mid bass. Coaxials are usually used for the rear. For HU - Pioneer or Alpine but the latter is kinda expensive. You can also try Kenwood KDCX 7016 it costs around 570aed in Sharaf. This HU has most of the tuning capabilities graphic eq, TA, Crossovers and ipod capabilities (http://india.kenwood.com/products/car/1 ... index.html)

SQ - Sound Quality focuses on clarity and how the music has been reproduced
SPL - Sound Pressure Level (Bass Heads)

thanks for your reply jiggs & TNT.
what exactly is coaxials & tweeters & DAC? i really dont know anything since im new into all of this. please help.
i want speakers with SPL. i have checked JVC & SONY HU's. they are pretty good & cheap. have noted kenwood in mind. they also have some cheap ones. kenwood speakers are good too. & normal priced.

the dilemma is that i have a factory HU with a cassette player which i dont want to remove. is it possible to install another HU (CD player), while both of them work at the same time.
also when installing an HU what should i look for so they are compatible with the speakers, AMP & SUB.

& good place to install in dubai & shj. this is a big dilemma.
appreciate your replies.

2 way Components: (Midbass & Tweeters are separated)
http://uae.motors.souq.com/DLS-R6A-Comp ... w%26go%3D1

Coaxials:
http://uae.motors.souq.com/Focal-6-5-In ... _id%3D1197

Does your stock HU have CD player? if yes, you can use that for the meantime and all you need will be Line Out Converter. You can go to Gulf Wireless (Car Audio People) in Al Quoz for install.

What you will need:
Front speakers - 2 way Components or 2 way Coaxials it really depends on you.
Subwoofer - depends on the space preferably 10"
Amp - 4channel amp or 5channel
HU - with at least 2 RCA Pre outs (Pioneer like DEH-4250)
since you want serious bass, check Neo's stuff in Souq.com you can go for Kicker products.
