Better than to buy some of the bass tube is to make a mini home theater system. One of ma friend is having a jimmy sierra. In it he fitted around a couple of small speakers at the back and also two small subwoofers with a kenwood player.Believe me the Dolby DTS sound in that ride and the bass was same as that of another car who had all the features like kenwood speakers and JBL bass tube or an earthquake. That car even had powerful amplifiers. We even use to see movies :D in that jeep as teh sound in it is Dolby DTS. :) .Now wat u tell abt that :?:

Punk/Metalcore: Most of the time, aggro driving. (stuff like Funeral for a Friend, Atreyu, Deftones and maybe Ill Nino.)
Alternative: When I need some mellow stuff, feel chilled out. (Cold, Tea Party)
Metal:When i'm aggro. (Machine Head, Pantera, Testament)
Industrial: also when i'm aggro. (Stabbing Westward, Filter, NiN)
R&B: when i'm with a chick or just feel the need for some bass
Trip Hop: when i'm with a chick or just feel the need for some bass but more relaxed than R&B (Massive Attack, Portishead, MoS, Thievery Corp.)

Sorry... Neo inspired me on this long post. :P

Attempting to revive this thread, as I find it pretty relevant.

I listen to music that keeps me awake and soothes me when I'm stuck in traffic. Currently, I have the following:

1) An album of assorted alternative rock music
2) Halo 2 Soundtrack
3) Halo 3 Soundtrack
4) Mass Effect Soundtrack
5) The Watchmen Soundtrack
6) Armin Van Buuren - State of Trance 2004 Disc 1
7) Coldplay - Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends
8) Fast and Furious 4 OST
9) Forza Motorsport 2 OST
10) Vanilla Sky OST

I'll be adding Moby's new album tonight.

I have been going throung so many genre transitions its annoying..I gotta update my playlist accordingly every other week...

Sometimes its House/Techno/Electro...Other times it could be hip-hop/R&B...on the rare occasion soft rock (when I am super depressed, lol)...and then lately I have been listening to alot of classic hindi songs :S ...some jazz, some Tony Bennett..like real old classy soothing music...It relaxs my brains and puts me to sleep..lol...

I guess my playlist depends on who I am with, or what my mood is....It's Ramadan now so I am Listening to Quran Recitations.. :) ..

Songs that pump me up while driving:
1) "Voice of S30Z" (song from Wangan Midnight)
2) "Put Yourself In My Place" by Kylie Minogue - it relaxes me when I'm driving from RAK to SHJ on a Friday night
3) Love songs
4) "Selfish"
5) "Ever After"
6) Punk rock songs
7) Trip Hop CD from Sparky
8) Misc MP3s (including the one Sparky gave me a few years back)
9) Michael Jackson
10) Initial D songs

To sum it up, I listen to all kinds of music.
