I see there is a lot of skepticism with some thing new, that's a start.so let me put this in lame-mans term for my unbelievers with traditional views.the steering wheel is made out of natural stone(granite),true.now lets just say,i chose not to put the whole slab in the car,hence,(1)reducing the weight. the average steering wheel weighs about 5 to 10lbs.now when i convert a steering wheel to a Stonegrip,it weighs in at around 10 to 12lbs.so that's one off the list for my skeptical buddies.now (2).i think i read one of the comments that said,"how would it feel if your head hits it".my answer to that is,the same way it would the windshield feels,or hitting any other part in the car at 60mph for that matter.I would just like to say that this is not something that i am thinking about doing or imaging. this is my work,my invention, this is what i do to pay for my college education as an engineer.so would it stand to reason that if I'm an engineer, shouldn't i think outside the box. That's all.

Is it not logical to make a steering wheel light as possible? Also you can get wraps for your steering which could look like stone. So why?

To TNT,I'm sorry if you may hve interpreted my reply as though i may hve had and attitude.please understand, It's never personal outside of my home,so forgive me if you may hve taken my reply in a negative manner, but all criticism is good criticism, whether it be negative or positive, regardless of the points or puns trying to get passed,it warrants a response to give a clear understanding of facts that my hve been over looked.so i hope you hve a good day.

To kartoos100,i thank you for your words of motivation, always appreciated.thanks

To real_ashwin,you say why not jst settle for the stone look and a lighter wheel, well for one, these wheels are not design for racing tht depends on the critical factor of weight.and as for the look, thts fine for the average Joe tht wnts to look like he's doing it big,but when it comes to style and quality,he's still and average Joe.take Bentley,Mercedes ,BMW and any other luxury automobile,do you think they would be able to sell their vehicles for 60,70 and even 250 thousand dollars had they jst put out low quality mediocre products ? I'm afraid not.In this day and age my friend, class and quality has a price, and it doesn't come cheap when you hve standards tht is on levels above the average Joes. hope i got my point across, and as always my friends, its never personal outside my home, jst another day at the office, lol, take care and please feel free to give me any constructive criticism tht you would like to voice.have a nice day.Stonegrips.

Designed for luxury vehicles, not racing. Period.

Kinda like the wood interior thing. Weight savings don't matter to those people.

What i dont get about people saying adds weight is, they put 12 000 lbs sub woofer in their car and 5000 lbs of rims body kit etc shit on their cars and it dont matter, a steering wheel adding a few more lbs and they start crying about weight factor.
