Al Mamzar Mark II Fun (Videos Inside)
Last Thursday was alot of fun with the DA 1 Black Mark II.. Quite many races too.. Don't worry, all videos available as evidence..
The Mark was serviced the same day and had water slipped into the injectors.. A few beginning races were lost! Yes LOST! but as soon as the car got right, it was real real fun..!!! So lets get started..
The very first race was between Karama's 1G Mark II (Ghusais: Win Karama: Lost):

Then, with the red 7M Supra JZA70 (JZA70: Win Ghusais: Lost):

Don't know from where the Lexus SC400 came in (Lexus: Won Ghusais: Lost):

Now this was when the car got right and the first to get smoked was the silver single-turbo'd Soarer (Ghusais: Win Soarer: Lost):
http://www.uaeboost.net/videos/Mobile/H ... oarer1.3gp
Lets take that one more time (Ghusais: Win Soarer: Lost):

For some reason or the other, the JZA70 was VERY DISTURBING!! (JZA70: Win Ghusais: Lost):

Okay, the Soarer guy confessed that his turbo opens at 4000 RPM.. So the race took place on the Mamzar-Ghusais road.. This was the true power.. (Soarer: Win Ghusais: Lost):

Okayyyyyy.. That was enough for the night.. Lets conclude with a small BURNOUT!!

Note: Videos are in 3GP format. You will require a plugin to play them in RealPlayer. Well, the plugin won't take much time to download anyway.
Pics will be up sooooon! Enjoy!!
Al Mamzar Group 77 Returns (Videos Inside)
Last night, we saw the three Group 77s finally back with their Mark II, the Rocket Dancer Starlet and the Soarer!! Well as usual, DA 1 Black Mark II was still racing on the streets, ready to take any Jap-spec challenge
At first, the Mark II JZX90 raced a 1J JZA70 Supra.. Well that one couldn't even get close to the Mark, but unfortunately, there was a little accident. The Supra got tooooo close and broke up the Mark II's right side-mirror.

Since there weren't many cars this time, the Group 77 people showed up at around 3:30am.. The Mark II tried to race the Rocket Dancer Starlet.. Damn that Starlet was just throwing backfires and had a really cool turbo sound..

Note: Sound quality isn't very good coz the rear door mirror was open.
Enjoy!!!

There was an accident yesterday at Mamzar at around 2:30am. Four cars were racing, two Mark IIs (JZX81), another Mark II (JZX90) and a Honda Prelude w/ NOS.
The race started from the beginning of the very roundabout leading to the Beach area from Century Mall highway. Prelude tried to switch lanes unaware of the other car beside it. This made it brake real hard. The other three guys racing got panicked and as the Prelude got enough space to cut into the lane on its left, the Mark II (JZX90) which was at its front braked.
JZX90s rear bumper touched Prelude at rear-left corner of the car, Prelude sliped, got onto the footpath where four other guys were sitting, hit ONE of the them and damaged four trees! The guy was taken to the hospital right away.
Driver of the Prelude took away the license plates, registration card and other documents of the car and left the car there as it is. On inspection by the cops, a NOS cylinder was found in the boot with the wirings going through the backseat of the car, passing through the gearbox-place and into the engine through a gap between the accelerator and the brake pedal.
A few pics for you to see. apologies for the low-res.

Ouch...Sam wrote:And that is why I will be re-considering our Meeting spot for the next meet.
I don't wanna imply any "told you so" but..
.. told you so
Too bad things like this happen, but I guess It's inevitable. The guy who took the numberplates.. yeah.. Hope he scraped of all VIN (Vehicle Number Identification) (chassis) numbers as well.
To be honest, this is the reason why I avoid places like that. Imagine a group of modded cars parked there. Besides the cop magnet factor, people will drave crazy when they see modded cars, just to show of. (Modded cars would include Adil, Mutayeb, ...) And any supra, skyline, markII, .. that will be there as well.
Imagine the guy being hit (at high speeds) by the Prelude was your father, brother or best friend. Then you'd think twice about driving a dangerous car.
Nitrous bottles can be bought and installed in Sharjah. Yes, the emirate where tinting is discourage.

You aren't exactly Mister Current Affairs are you, Nismo? Fines have gone up and cars get locked up for certain offences.Nismo wrote:the car might be stolen .. or else why would he run away ... nos would get jus a lil fine .. for about 500 dats it .... am sure the car was stolen .

Secondly if it was stolen why would he have run away with the plates?

I don't think the car was stolen. The owner spend some time making out what all got damaged in his car and then decided to take off the plates and ran away. Of course, if he didn't erase/amended the chassis numbers, he would have already been caught by now.
The fine to the traffic police would include the damage to the road, pavements and the trees of course. The cops didn't even allow anyone to look at the injured guy. The Ambulance appeared out of nowhere and just took away the guy. Nobody knows his condition.
The cops are also looking for the black JZX90 Mark II that hit the Prelude and made it slip onto the pavements.

HAHAHA.. lol lol lolfatboyzlim wrote:You aren't exactly Mister Current Affairs are you, Nismo?
Well, even before fines went up. Racing, nitrous, hitting trees, and hitting a person is not just 500 dhs... Rather jail, fine and car impounded.
I mean, it's still the real world.

oh mannn !!!! bad scene....so much for 'street racers'.
just watch out guys, its not worth the trouble. yesterday i saw a cop in a tinted Kia, pulled over a reckless driver and gave him a slip. just be careful guys, i know its all fun to play with cops .... but its not worth when u get caught. going to blow a hole in ure bank ... wudnt u rather spend that money on mods for real racing?
