No well, i hope (somehow I fear it wont) this can remain a valid discussion.. Mustang Cobra's run 12's when coming from the showroom floor.. so yeah..

....but a good topic - in a staright line id vote for the mustang .... they are pretty fast

- plus the larger displacement is any added benefit.....
But again, it depends....does the soarer have a Blitz Computer

?

and, one more thing -- from what i knw the Mustang only comes in a 4.0L and 4.6L (right?) = so when u say 5.0L, do u mean older models? Shelby? GT?
the 4.6L produces 300hp and 320 lb-ft of torque.... thats quite a hefty amount! --
but im sure it weighs more than a soarer too!

i cant say .... hmmm

5.0 mustang against a Soarer u dont know tha power of soarer ... u guys talk to much

wait for for juz a year .. ill buy a soarer and i'll load it with a Computer and lets take it on teh streets ... and yes we race in evening

I don't know the stock numbers, but I think the mid-90's Mustang GT's are 5.0 Liter.

Straight line, the soarer might even win.. (higher redline i guess), but the stang given a diet, and proper suspension.. i think the torque will have advantages on a circuit.

Yes, I was indeed talking stock cars, both of them.

Blooshi, you have a GT right?

Or, if we take somebody with a near stock soarer, versus Mustang GT 06.. think that would be interesting.

I'd go with the mustang.. but only the new one.. the old ones have sluggish engines.. they arent that quick.. i mean the stock ones !

Mustang wins ! but only the 06 one !

if u compare a 91-93 soarer, compare it with a mustang 91-93 model ! then a soarer will win of course !

but if there was a soarer 2006.. i will bet for soarer again !

ofcourse soarer rulez man.....................mustang old shape 5.0......it is a good car......but because of the weight the car gets smoked in the pick up.......but on the high way it runs damn

Actually the 5.0L produces only 240 bhp.
The 5.8L enginine is the one which produces 300 BHP. But then again they had the 5.0L engines back in 94-95. After that they only had the 4.6L engines.

P.S. Does the cobra come with a 5.0L engine or a 5.8L engine ?

this is my first post. im in canada right now and i raced a soerer last weekend with my 5.0.modded. anyways because my car at launch without slicks is useless because of the power, we went from about a 30kmh roll. pretty even through first gear but when i shifted i took him by about 3 car lengths because my second gear is quite tall. anyways thought i would share that story. btw looking forward to moving to dubai.

if we no the model yearof this car i am sure we can make a fair decision...dont the newer soarers cum with twin turbo stock??..bcoz we have alot of guys in canada importing soarers from japan that come stock with twin tubro...

its a good race but i really cant choosee!!!
