God forgive me! :( ...

It was early morning 2days back infront of Madina Badar buildings. I enterd from Emirates Road, towards (i dunno the name, may be Mizhar or ....) to drop my bro n sis to Arab Unity School... n so happend tht Civic was driven by a local along with his child, saw in mirror :) ... was dupin light frm 1 KM back as if he is driving 200 KM/h  , n there was no enough space to enter 2nd lane... n he did not stop dupin... n I gave him lil space when I cud... but HE PISSED ME OFF :@ ... *... thn I cudnt 4give him... I crossed him at 150 KM/h within in moderate traffic (despite tht area is famous fro mobile radar, road limit 100 KM/h) as he was pushing too, n went till 177km/h n had to stop for U-Turn n tht guy crossed me lil less thn half minute later  ... man tht morning was nice, wheather was cool, my mind was fresh, but not after tht... I seek forgiveness from GOD, tht in this Holy Month I cudnt control my self :(

PS- but it was fun to smoke 2006 Civic 1.8L IVTEC with 1 pessenger by 1999 Sunny 1.6 (no VVT-i or IVETC  ) along with 2 pessenger onbord 8) ...
n the funniest thing was, I changed all 4 tyres after all this happend... n found tht 1 of front tyre worn so bad tht I cud c the steel frame :| ... now I think with brand new tyre I can smoke Civic even better :P

thnks commando!

btw albertho, I think the wheel is clue for most of stock car... for instance if u c a 2006 civic or Corolla with wheel cap, expect tht car might not b full option bcos alloy is part of the options... thts how I guess on cars... :P

masabgt .... nice race ther ...

but i was still wondering .... howcome the 1.8 civic lost ....

coz i had a race wid a civic '06 1.8 .... thinkin its 1.8 n mine is 2.0 n i'll smoke it easily .... but tht civic ('06) has amazing power

both the cars started the race from 0 kmph standing beside each other on an empty strip of road ....counted till 1 - 2 - 3 - "GO" ... n it was wid me till 60 kmph ... but then it started moving ahead gaining a half car distance n more as speeds increased .... to about 150 kmph ...

if the race had cotinued ... i would not see the civic as it would hav dissappeared a long distance ahead ....

still in a dillema about the civic ...

hmmm... to me, I would have lost to R18A1 like you said if started from 0 km/h... no win ever :nono: 8) ... I think I could smoke 1.8L Civic with 1.6L Sunny bcos I was in motion, thus didnt lose any sec changing gear from 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 thn 5  ... this is my guess... am sayn again I wud even losse to SR20DE is started from zero  n this is FACT...

well could be a diff. situation wid the '06 civic while in motion ... havent tried tht ...

i guess i gotta take revenge frm a '06 civic while its in motion for my earlier loss ...

anywayz ...thanx for clearin tht out .... but ppl dont underestimate the new civic ... it RUNSSS damn quick in its segment of cars

any time bro :)

I think this is where VVT-i or I-VTEC shine on standerd engine of late 90's... variable valve timing can really pull whenever you want, unlike engine without VVT which can pull only at fixed RPM...

Even today morning I crossed 1.8L Corolla 1ZZ-FE at speed of 180 km/h (don wanna elaborate this story, thn all will say Masab race everyday? god damn! he is liar!) however, tht was because standerd engine of mine got power at given PRM at tht time... where as VVT engine has power through out all RPM...

so VVT is (Y)
