I can tell you one thing guys.
I don't know if this is true or not, but what I know. It's not always the car and what it has under the hood or what ever...
It's the driver! Some drivers don't know how to push some cars.
I did something like this once, but not with F430! I raced a Range Rover Sport and it's modified with turbo and other things. I can tell how the turbo sounds like...
I was shocked when I was able to beat him. He wasn't a good driver. He have all of that power in his car while I have nothing special under my car's hood!
again, it's not just the car... it's the driver!

Im a past owner of an SS, and a current owner of a dodge charger.
Unless you have changed out your entire back end there is no way you beat a Ferrari. Yes, you make more HP than it, and more torque, but you lack that really efficient backend.
THere is a guy here in AD with a stroker and a complete backend with 3.71 gears, doing 520 at the crank. This guy can and has taken on 430s and Galardos. Before the backend it was impossible.
Im sorry, it just isnt possible. Maybe in a jelly donut world or la la land, but not in reality.
Plus, if you are running a SC on a stock motor you're dumber than dirt, especially in this climate, And to be making that much HP with just a SC you must be at boost levels past 6 psi? also insane in this climate.
Next time this happens take a video. I more than anyone would appreciate a huge american muscle car beating down on an exotic... but too much of a grey area here to belive it.
Plus, your 1st post was a bit childish and reminds me of all the guys I know who see my car and start "paper racing" and acting like they know the 1st thing about cars.

First of all this would be silly to have a thread about lies...
Initially i found it pretty hard to believe.
The exotics always have an excellent power to weight ratio which makes it an excellent all round sports car.
Some people dont just read the first few pages and just say it isnt possible.
I am not pointing at your ultrablue, you have a valid point. But i guess he has done something to improve the overall effect of improved torque and power.
You cant just slap on a supercharger and call it day... he has done things to keep it cool(injection).
He can drag with a 430 and win, but never on a track....
I have already posted Hyundai coupes taking on lambos and enzos while drag...
If you have really done this all by urself I would like to have some help when i decide to go boost on my korean ride...

Sorry to hi jack this thread.... mine is an I4 so i cant do Assassin... actually my plan is the NGM enforcer stage II kit... Puts around 230 Horses... I dont want to drag, want an overall elevated performance for daily street driving...mikeh wrote:Get the NGM assassin, it gives you high 12's on slicksNeo wrote:If you have really done this all by urself I would like to have some help when i decide to go boost on my korean ride...

Oh you'd be surprised how many threads the guys on chargerforums start based on a lie. It happens.Neo wrote:First of all this would be silly to have a thread about lies...

And I am sure it "can" be possible. But we are talking about dumping 150K at least into the SS. You would need a forged stroker, a SCer, a full new back end, and ALOT of tuning.
An LS1 will give way after 500bhp. you need a forged motor. And keeping it at 5.7 liter would be silly. You would go up to 6.2 or 6.4. (so thats 15K USD, including headers, intake, catback...) and then you would need a SCer, or better yet turbos. (10K) a new backend. thats another 8 or 9K. Thats already 120ish K AED without all the shipping, tuning, and secondary parts needed (FMIC, injectors, BAP, fuel rails, methanol injection...)
And this isnt even taking into consideration brakes/suspension. So 125K for only the performance part of it. I just dont believe he did this. I dont think any sane person would do this.

As you will notice. I did say no SANE person would do that. lol. Obviously I am not sane. I've passed the 120K mark. Yes. Sadly.Rogue wrote:im not soo much of a technician n i dont mean to contrdict u either... but hey ultra blue havent u spent a small fortune on ur charger as well maybe not 150k but im sure more than half of it ...
