no shalashaka.. this guy doesnt know what he's talking.. what car do u own GTR 35?.. well I own a Skyline GTR 32. i mean used to .. just sold a week ago..see the pics at the images column.

so u dont need to tell me what i know and what i dont.. ! the question was between Altima and SS.. the topic is very clear.. SS wins.. ! i know its limitations and i know the limitations of Altima too..

So the next time u wanna talk.. talk sensible ! bringing ur friend's car to race is the most cowardly act anyone can even think of !

Besides that, define the race. Is it on a track, or just from a stop light, or from a roll.. It's all depending on many things, like let's even say gear ratios.. If its a corner-ish track, then just putting the pedal to the metal.

Besides that, look at the power curve, torque of both cars, redline, ... How good are both drivers? Any upgrades in handling on both cars? Weight reduction...

Bringing a car like a GTR34 is cool.. ..if it's your own one. And still, it can be beaten by many other cars. Especially with modding, you should look at each car individually..

The best way of finding this out, is actually go to a track/deserted road/drag strip, and *race* against each other.. But frirst give me a call, so I can take pictures

Private eye...i dont own gtr-35 coz tat doesnt exists if U didnt kNOw ..i said GTR34 ...i did ask wat car u own and about the cowardly act ,u didnt get wat i said...i said come 4 race WITH UR CAR and not ur friends car COZ i have a friend who ownz a Gtr-34 with heavy mods .. and bout ur sold car ..past is past... how abt a race between Nissan 350Z and SS... we tried before but unfortunately the 350Z won..! but irfan( SS's owner blames the failure on his plugs which had problems ) .. he still believes SS is faster..

what do u say guys ?

The Altima weights less?? Damn, that 350 is a fatty then

Both are -i think- running the same VQ35 engine, yet they are differently placed (transversal vs longitudinal).. Plus, drivetrains play a big part as well.

- An altima is front wheel driven saloon car.
- A 350Z is a rear wheel driven sports car.

What about gear ratios? Don't forget a "Z" has a 6 speed manual.. Handling of the Z is probably way better than an altima, which improves accelaration as well..

One should look less at "how much horsepower" a car has.. There are different factors..

350z suks....i heard nd saw that its alot slower then its predecesors..300zx nd older version r faster then the 350z...its good lookin but thats it..

A 300ZX, i guess you are talking about the twin turbo'd version? At Dubai Motorshow I saw that the 350Z's now have (stock?!?) 360 horsepower.. of course, that is crank / dealer claimed / ... so, let's say a 310whp would be a fairly honest yet pessimistic answer. 310whp, out of a 3.5 NA V6 engine, ain't bad at all.

Sure it is slower stock, but I think it's the next big tuning platform.. Drifting wise and track wise..
