Guys...this is someones joke....

I havent seen anything in any of the newspapers ( i read Gulf News and 7Days every morning).

Which roads? -- think about it, - no way they will close Emirates Rd, or Dubai-Sharjah Rd. or even Shk. Zayed Rd for a Race

And if they DO IT (which again, i dont think they will) -- They would publicise it alot....

Has anyone heard anything about it from any other source???

PS - Grayfoxx, i am not saying your wrong :) - in fact, thanx for the article! -- but it doesnt seem likely to happen....

hmmm i dunno whats this all about but today while cumin from dubai i saw this huge board
INTER CITY RACING CHALLENGE ( if i am not wrong ) and the date was from 18th feb to march 24 !!

If it happens, I think it'll be more of a parade to show off with expensive cars.. The last thing places like UAE want is articles like "10 died in inter city race" .. They would like to portray themselves as a "safe place".

Com' on, people over here crash already at low speeds.. let alone higher speeds.
