Hi people!
I would like to introduce myself. I'm a 23 year old Dutch mechanical engineering student, staying for about 4,5 months in Ras al-Khaimah (doing an internship). I'm a big car fan myself, back home I own a Daihatsu Charade GTti ('89). It's a small, but fast and nippy car. 1.0 litre 3-cylinder turbo-charged engine, with approx. 160/170 bhp
Right now i'm driving a Volvo V70 2.4 automatic (company car).... yaaay
Just came across this website, wanted to see if there are some tuners over here in the UAE. I frequently visit the emirates motorplex at fridayevening, but not much is happening the last couple of times (only folks doing burnouts/trying to drift with their landcruisers and patrols).
I've been to the sand-drag an freestyle drag once, i hope that there is a freestyle drag coming up 'cause i'm in the need to smell some petrol and rubbber
So if anyone has some tips for places that i should visit as a petrolhead, plz let me know!!! (yesterday i went to Dubai motordrome, when i came there, everything was cancelled 'cause a lethal accident happened )

Yeah that's the one. Too bad that there wasn't any announcment when entering the autodrome It was totally deserted (ok, i have to admit that i was a bit late, i arrived at 14.10, the races started at 14.00), anyway just went to the cinema in dubai mallAccordTuner wrote:dj drift wrote:Welcome.
