My Acer Aspire One runs on Linux.
Using Firefox I've been able to watch videos in YouTube to my heart's content. Now lately YouTube has been spreading the word that the current version of Firefox I'm using won't be supported by their site so they're telling me to download Firefox 3.6. I go to Mozilla's site and I click on the download button for Firefox 3.6. I choose to save the file in my disk drive and it is saved as a zip file-like file, which contains files that need to be extracted somewhere.
Now all I need to know is where I can extract these files in order for it to work.

Installer file?
You mean I have to extract the files first or I have to run it from the Archiver?
