What kind of a combination is that? Or do you get three slots on a 3.2Ghz board?

Lil bit of creativity and the guts to work on metal, plastic, acrylic glass etc...
Will help.. Plus capability to handle screw drivers, hand held grinders, hacksaw etc...
Not something that u shud try if ur the kind who dont wanna open up the cabinet and mess around wit wires and connections....

As far as case modding ... neons and glowing fans are must for starters..

If u work on painting the modded case... woah...

The options are endless.. if ur genuinly interested... start a thread i will pull in step by step instructions including pics....

So uaeboost.net would be a little bit faster :)

No, currenly I am doing research for security on Oracle AS 10g, if you ever run that, you will know exactly why 4gb is needed.

Plus I run several virtual machines using VMWare.. that eats memory as well..

Hahaha!! that sounds alrite to me....
Instead of running VMWare on intel based machines u cud probably go IBM and their P series server wit multiple Power processor and have LPAR (Dynamic logical partitioning), U have dynamic resource allocation and improve perfomance witout restarting the server or the patition....
With Micropatitioning available wit the NEW AIX operating system u have many partition running at the same time...
Which means Total server consolidation, Add up the memory and run wat ever u need to run at the same time.... U dont need blades, racks or clusters...

I guess the downside wud be the cost involved and u gotta be either running AIX o/s from IBM or Linux/UNIX... Not aware of windows on Power processors... anyways windows is crappy....

Well the benifits doesnt end there... Its jst the starting.. I know most of the apps wud be windows based, so no help here....

Server wise, we are getting rid of all AIX based machines (even still some AS400's) , and it will all move to Sun Solaris and HPUX.

Problem is indeed that many tools that we are deploying at the moment only run on windows based machines.

On my laptop i run linux and I love it (Y) !!!! You're more involved with the entire "computer thing" though. See it as windows is an automatic car that you drive and bring to service every 3 months.

Linux is a hardcode stripped beast and you spend weekends under your car and your definition of "my best jeans" is the one with the less oil on..
