Alright people! I have now taken the decision to do something special for the car to celebrate its second birthday.
I am going to spend some money and get the following F sport items:-
Fsport Suspension
Fsport Springs
Fsport Strut Bar
Fsport Sway Bar
Fsport Mats
Fsport Gear CF Knob

The last two mods will definitely give me atleast 20 WHP. Would have got the Fsport sticker for an added 5WHP but the extra weight would negate the effect. So decided against.

I was going to get the Fsport Exhaust and the Intake but I havent been able to get enough confidence that it will actually work on my car because they are made for the IS250 and the IS350. Also, the pain I had to deal with to get the car passed with just springs is fresh in my mind.

A couple of days before I pull the trigger. What are your thoughts?

What was the issue? Usually they do give trouble if you have lowered the car well below the normal limit.

The Shamil "bum lovers" failed my car and asked to put the original springs back on. The guys over here advised me to take it to Tasjeel at Barsha. No problems there.

tlking about theses rta testers..i guess depends on the persn checking it..sometymes they are so lazy n bored they just pass n sometimes they mind the most smallest faults..
thats my observation..

kartoos... i liek your idea that your doing more for your car on handling and performnce :)..
looking forward to it..( minus d sticker and gear knob..suggest keep d inside luxury ..or move to foiling cf around )..

The sticker is a definite no, the gear knob is a Lexus accessory. So you cant count it as rice. I have been getting input from Lexus forums and they ask me not to bother with the Fsport springs and suspension and put my money towards the exhaust. I am confused again. Damn!!

I will say go for aftermarket other companies rather them OEM Fsport accessories. Before exhaust go for suspension mods as they will you better results. IMO exhausts are more of sound modifiers for NA cars

why not skip springs and just get some kick %#%$ coil overs + sway bar for control. These are essential for high speed conering.

Yeah if you can afford some nice Tein coilovers with damper control and sway bars along with strut bars you are done with turbo for your handling

Daamn.. Decisions. decisions.. decision....

I am going to properly do my homework and spend the money I guess. Lemme check the Tein's out! They have good review on the Lexus forums.

I have only seen Tein with electronic damper control, rest are usually manual. check Tanabe as well I heard they also do provide electronic control

I've got the Tein EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) for the suspension in my car and its awesome, its a must if you do go with the Tein, very fast at changed the suspension settings on the move

@ Matt - Where did you buy your teins from? Do you have the Super street or the Comfort sport?
@ Doc - Which site would you recommend for Teins or Tanabes? The Tanabe exhaust is good value for money!
