BTW which workshop you getting all this done from?
Thanks WKZ

Well.... good question!!

As most of you guys know, an good workshop is hard to find here in the UAE

With the best recomandation I got Alyasy 7 Performance

They usualy build that kind of engines  and they are for sure the best, if you want to have an unique engine!!! They did already strokers before and I am very happy with there work! (nevertheless I am there every day!)

What shall I say? They never spend 1 dirham for advertising but I had to wait for my build up 3 weeks to get an apointment!!They are bussy like hell and you sould see who are there customers.... many very well knowen persons!!

Also they participate at the drag race @ yas marina circuit (pro street7 with an Nissan Skyline 1080 RWHP) and at the Liwa dune race. The Nissan partrol above has 2000 RWHP with an 4 step NOS injection out of an 9L V8 race engine :|

Yes, the 4L inline are great engines. Like them more then the later 3.7 Jeep liberty KJ or the last Wrangler 3.8L. Never saw a cracked block or crank. Piston and rod's are good up to 400 HP

I hace some ideas for an Stage 2.... Will keep you updated

Here the latest pic from yesterday. The new block is in and needs to be conneted. First start can be today or tomorrow morning!!

Missed to record the first stard. I was so exited, I totally forgot the keep it on tape

Now it is with me on the road! Testing and trouble shooting is ongoing! Many guys forget that this in a nomad phase during such engine build ups. I have driven now 100 Km. Now I have to change the oil because the cam brake in grease at the tappeds and cam mixed with the oil an this INS not good. After this I need an other 500 Km for the crank and piston brake in. Then the RPM can be up to the max. Right now I keep it below 3000.

I Feel how stronger it gets with each Km on the clock! Today I exit an parking a bit faste ( still below2000 RPM and my rear wheels was spinning already!

Like that stroker way of tuning!

First bug to fix are!

- batery to change -- Done--
- small oil leak at the rear side of the oil pan
- small coolant leak at the lower hose
- exhausted header to be changed with an model from 1999 (car is from2001 and Head from 1999)

Phase IV: testing, trouble shooting

So, now I have ~400 Km on the clock and everything runs fine. Just the already mentioned bugs are to be fixed. I checked every 40-50 Km the engine and searched for leakages or lose hoses / cables. Seams to be OK. Temperature seam to be OK as well with 190-200 F in city traffic as same as on the highway. Oil pressure is on idle at 18-20 and with 2200 at 40 PSI. So seam to be OK as well. See the pictures below from the first oel change (@160km). Everything clean and clear. I believe this is an indication for an good workmanship from 7Performance!

First bug to fix are!

- batery to change -- Done--
- small oil leak at the rear side of the oil pan
- small coolant leak at the lower hose connection to the water pump
- exhausted header to be changed with an model from 1999 (car is from2001 and Head from 1999) --bought but not build in jet--
- Accle Injectors to install with new fuel rail.--arranged and ready at Saturday--

Right now it runs with the stock ECU and bigger injectors. It might runs lean in upper RPM, but for the break in (which I anyway don't reach upper RPM) it is OK.

Later I want to go for this here.

It is an Piggyback (which I usualy don't like) but at least it hast the most important life tune options. Not the cheapest with 3300AED inc. dyno run, but it might be the best for my Stroker.

I have to go with it on the dyno! The Unichip has some big advantages. You can run bigger injectors and most of the ECU blocks are accessable. Most of the Diabolo/ superchip are working with Stocksetting +1%/2%/3% etc You can't realy control the ECU. I have much to adjust. 0,7L more CC and 24Lb/H injectors, NOS injection.

Infos here : http://www.tsautotronic.com/Unichip.htm

I am not happy with solution, but unfortunatly there is nothing better available!
