Yes that is truh! the Cooper STT are noicy onroad. But I think most of the offroad tirea are noicy. Exept the sand tires, which will not bring you up the dune. The B/F Goodrich are not that noicy. For me is most important the performance in the sand and there the Cooper STT's are quite good and cheap.TNT wrote:Nitto Dune Grapplers are great.
STTs are noisy on the road and all that M/T tread helps dig you down in sand. But they do look cool and work at ridiculously low PSI.
Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S are awesome. Silent on the road, and they climb well. A good compromise between M/T and H/T. Had a set on the Wrangler and absolutely loved them. Here's a pic:
BFG A/Ts are average. Noisy and particularly heavy.

BUMP
Thinking of selling the Starlet but I won't be in town till mid-December so not posting it in the FS thread, just a feeler.
Specs:
'91 Toyota Starlet GT
Stock CT-9
Custom exhaust
NGK IRIDIUM IX Spark plugs ( HR 7 )
9.5 mm leads
Hi/lo removed
3" down pipe
SR20 3'' de-cat
7M-GTE Injectors
1JZ-GTE Fuel Pump
Custom Front Mount Intercooler
RDP Uprated Clutch
Uprated Distributor
Manual Boost Controller(Its unbranded but very sturdy with no spikes at all, Slidesquad can vouch for that )
Turbo TImer
TRD Coilovers
Cusco Camber plates
Mines ECU
Apexi AFC (1st Gen)
Engine has been taken good care of, always used synthetic oils and genuine service parts used even though it is a '91.Tracked once but never abused, clutch is perfect for street use.Has a brand new radiator, compressor and condenser.Comes with a heat-wrapped T28 manifold and other spares.
I'm looking for 10K as is and 7k w/o the Mines ECU,AFC and 7M injectors.

What are you looking for bud ? I've got spares but won't interest you, body parts which were replaced like the original GT hatch door, '91 lights,2 ECUs which may not work etc.7afe wrote:Lemme know if you are willing to part it out. Might be interested in some parts, and what are the other spares you got?
