The car has turned out to be pretty good .. n i realized it had a JBL Sub which was not connected cuz no amp ... i can get that fixed soon ... the previous owner seems to be really nice guy.. even after buying the car if there were any questions i called him and he told me what is what.. & where should i go for oil change n so on .... I also talked to him about the FMIC and then he was like .. 1000 bux with installation .. or 800 bux without install ... & he also gave me the front grill since it was cracked..

I dunoo if i should go with the FMIC or not ...

the last pic is from the exhasut scraping on speed bumps, had the same problem with my old exhaust. Post a pic of the Front mount, if its a huge one then there is no point man,

If its a skinny one like this it will be better than a big thick one due to the size of your turbo and your bumper has such a limited gap:

skinnier one would be better than a big thick one like this

Here is the one on my car:

The red line is where the top and bottom are, should really move my licence plate up a little bit

Congrats on the new ride..
You can think about getting the intercooler after some time...
for now Source a New stock hood + Grill first! 8-)
De-ricing is always the first step!

I'll change bonnet only after FMIC... You cant call my hood scope rice cuz it is there cuz of the Top mount intercooler so i cant remove it right now because it has top mount Inter cooler ...

And i dont have pics of the intercooler but the guy whom i got it from had it on this car before but he swapped the engine before selling it off .. so he took out all the parts like boost controller / turbo timer etc etc ... So fitting wont be an issue he says it will fit in easily .. but i havent seen the intercooler yet .. but he did tell me its small not a massive intercooler ..

I feel like a pimp when im driving this car cuz of the red seats!
Grill is not bad .. I previous owner even gave me a new frame for the grill cuz this one is cracked a little bit..

& About the exhaust Is that scrapping an issue or i dont need to worry about it ?

Im gonna take off the stickers by the end of the week (Y)

Thanks ,
Lokesh

Starting with fixing the interior first & later the exterior!
RED SEAT Covers are going out first

Congragulations, on the car id suggest changing to stock hood as it will look more stock, that will save you from the cops :)

how can he change the hood to stock if it has a top mounted intercooler? its just going to suck in hot engine air and the car will run like crap, only if he fits the Front mount can he change the hood back to an original one.

Oh and congrats on the car dude!

Firstly, you can change the top mounted intercooler to a front mounted intercooler needs some repositioning and new piping.

Secondly, This is the tercel with a turbo engine in it isnt it? If iam not mistaken thats not exactly road LEGAL in dubai. Hence it would be better to make that car a sleeper instead of a loud hey look at me design. Funtion > Form but hey you try telling that to the cops.

As far as any cop is concerned its a Toyota with a Toyota engine, how do you think all the Dubai registered GS300 and SC300/Soarers with swapped 2JZ-GTE (The Twin Turbo motor) get away with it? You just need to tell him the other engine blew and this was all i could find at scrap yard, some of these cops will be driving these kinds of cars.
You don't need to tell me about swapping from a top mount intercooler to a front mount as its already been done on my car
If you had read his other thread you would have seen that the guy has a Front mount intercooler to sell as well but Lokesh hasn't bought it yet, only if he does the swap only then can he change the hood

I would suggest going with the intercooler that the guy has for sale , due to the fact that all the piping that he will give you would have been custom made to fit that intercooler i.e you know its going to bolt straight on
