@CaL][CaB - Im getting rims end of this month. Waiting for my shipment to arrive. Not oldskool JDM ones but something which is good. :)

Lips i will think about it later, i have to get used to driving lowered car first.

Just somethings i noticed after driving it around for 1 day, the ride is bumpy on uneven roads, like hurts your back like bouncy. The front is stiff! and the guy had the springs of the coils to adjust the height onto the tein shocks. Is this normal? I also find the bolt alignment under the hood of the suspension to be away from where it used to be from before. There is also a noise coming in from the front end which comes when i brake real hard, probably rubbing fenders but i have 2 finger gap between my tyre and fenders and the sound is kinda metallic n loud. What are these issues ?

Is the ride supposed to be this bumpy after coilovers?

Im planning to go back there today and get it checked up.

its not supposed to be that bouncy...if you do have Damper settings...you can actually make the ride softer or stiffer...

but bounce is plain wrong

He welded them cut. I thought he was being a %#%$ moron TBH, so I bailed. I don't trust people who keep repeating 'mushkil nahin hain' to every damn query.

wait thats really not normal. It should have fixed directly without any issue as long as you purchased the correct shocks and coils for your model car. If hes cut the springs on the coils and welded them well i dont know what to say im speechless...

Exactly my point. %#%$ said these TEINS were used in Tiidas before...he was obviously BS'ing, because he took a set, then proceeded to cut one level of the springs and then mounted them.

I am sorry to say this but i am quite sure you have been lied to and you have been given coils for some other car. He has bastardize those coils to fit your car.

You should have walked away like Captain Paranoid(Ozi)

So, i went back there and got it changed. Gave back the cut springs and replaced it with tein springs, which are softer. The ride is fine now not bumpy like how it was before, but i still have a doubt he cut the springs. I'm so doomed :(

btw you would have seen a lot of lowered cars on the road bouncing up and down on normal speeds of 60-80 this is a clear sign that those ppl have just taken their stock springs, heated them to cut them.
The result is a lowered car with a horrible setup.

So far on normal roads the car is going smooth, if the road is uneven then it gets a bit bouncy. I had the issue of bounciness with the earlier springs at the same speeds of 60-80, i went and changed it anyway.

My suspension setup has strut setup in front and individual spring and shocks at the back. Is the bouncy ride because front suspension is stiff and back is soft?

@alexEF, car is same height like the pictures in page 4. I just changed the springs to softer ones as it was not done properly and was too stiff and bouncy. Is bounciness caused also because front suspension is stiff and back is softer ?
