Got hold of an HKS air filter with aluminium pipe after extensive search of the sharjah scrapyard. Found one at Yalata Garage. My brother (Private Eye and Umar) are good friends of the owner Abdullah. He just got it in the container that arrived today and informed us.
I will post the pics soon !
Also bought a rear spoiler that looks like one below ! but the car below is heavily modified
Doing a slow ... but a steady job !

Does it has to be locally, or does he wants to order online as well? Maybe the V2 ?Accord98 wrote:A friend is looking for a Cold Air Intake for a Civic VTi auto trans - preferably AEM, Injen or Fujita.... any idea?

I wish he ordered more of these air filters. This air filter was installed in a Toyota Supra which he got recently from Japan. My brothers asked him for the filter and he gave them.Accord98 wrote:nice filter! - rare to find here i guess...
Does Yalata get intakes for Civics?

Said" People who can buy cars like Toyota Supra can buy air filters separately too."

Installed the air filter today.. Took me 2 hours of what I thought was a simple DIY job.
I told the air filter that ur going to be fit on a Honda Accord today. The air filter screamed " No Way ! I am made for Supras and Skylines. I am not going on an Accord !
It wasn't easy .! The original piping didnt go on as the engine bay didnt have enough space. Had to remove the pipe and the filter was fit on the original honda pipe !
Sounds much better now !

No my friend. Hondas cannot sound the same as Skyline or Supras and my Accord is no exception. However it's better than the normal "weee" sound !usaf23 wrote: close to supra and skys ?

Thanks WKX. Yes, we do miss the GTR a lot.. It was an excellent ride. The fun cant be experienced unless you are sitting on the driving seat. Pure adrenaline rush
Performance cars like these are best when they are RHD. Sam knows it. he has seen the difference between an original RHD car and a converted LHD car. at least in my case I wasn't happy with the conversion !
Back to Honda now !

Agree on the conversion job. Too much to be a daily driven ride, especially in the peak hours traffic of Dubai, using all the strength you got to hold that twin-plate clutch in place Nevertheless, one hell of a car... just wish it was AWD... need I say more?Aamir wrote:Performance cars like these are best when they are RHD.
