hay these forms are adictive
well if you need some more info. hear it is

the Garage is a BMW specialist garadge in Abu Dhabi, Musafah
its called Alpina "i know i know sounds looks and is spelled the same as the real Alpina but u have to remember we are in ARABIA :D so this is the real Alpina"
my father promiced me i cood do a reel car project a long time back but only once it was the last option
c i first started with remotcontrole cars (then i bilt one my self)
then evolved to motorbikes (customized one myself)
and finaly starting in the summer of 10th grade a car
originaly supose to be an R32 GT-R project but because the garage specialized in BMW it would'not be a wise chose so i then went for an e30 M3 but couldnot find it so finaly it
all started with a 5000Dh e30 325 1990 BMW
Image

then i tried to find a s38 m5 engine the old inline big six (very simuler to skyline engine but works with intake on the left rather then the right of the engine) but could not find any good
M5 engines in Sharja so i settled for a single overhead cam m30 3.5L
Image

Image

then came the fun part trying to find a perfect comperetion ratio as not to harm the engine block or gasket
but then i got to the conclusion the police will never let the car be street legal so i took it to the max
-ceramic coated JE pistons (high compretion and bilt for drag race, as to withstand the extra boost)
Image

then i got to have a "shopping spree for parts"
from 1600cc injectors to ARP head bolts titaniam and stanless steel gasket
once that was over i got to start the asembaly of the engine

THIS IS WERE I WANTED TO LEARN MORE so what i did was bilt the engine my self with the head mechanic a very very good freind of mine watching over me (as not to jepordize all the parts from a lose bolt or something)
-the first stage was the funnest for me it was porting the intake and exhaust of the enines head........ fom this
Image

to this
Image

once that was done i had to cleed the car from unneeded parts and snuff
then it was time for suspention (that was a %#%$)
-original racing suspention for a e30 would not work because of the much added weight of the engine so the full suspention had to be fully fabricated and substituted with parts the worked and after about 3 mounths of testing different parts i fount a set up that acted like it was set for drift (solid) or drag (rear softer then front for wieght transfer)
Once that was done all hell broke lose with trying to find a kit strong enoph for the added weight which would have not been hard if my car was an M3 with a 5 bolt tyer pattern
so that is what i did i converted my car from using a 4 bolt patteren to a 5 bolt so larger discs cood be installed
BUT the i had a money problem so i ordered the disks from Mercedes and foud BREMBRO 4 piston calipers in Mosufah for 150DH each :D :| :D :|

well i could keep going on and on but that was the story of my car
THE FIRST OF THE FUTURE COMPANY
R.M.S. Ramahi Motor Sports or how about
O.M.A.R Omar Mahmood Al- Ramahi......cool it also woks in arabic
(a coincadince,,,,i think not!)

so if you still want more of the story just tell me
in eventualy led me to Japan and now GERMANY to stydy Automotive Mechanical enginearing in the top university in Germany!

Rock OUT!!!!!
AND I DONT EVEN HAVE A LICENCE YET, I JUST TURNED 18 a mounth ago

thanks for the risponces

and yes the car will be dynoed when i get back from germany for winter break like December 20 or something in december

but not before i get autronic and get the injectors to work properly without drowning the engine if you dont give full throtle

and it has a bumper the the pic i have with the bumber is when i just bought it and set it on the car to c how it looks (not good pic.
(when we fully installed the bumper......the intercooler was still an 1-1.5inchs hanging out of the bottem)

Car Freak!!!!!! i was thinking more just Freak but thats OK :D

Thats looks like alot of work but its definately different.
I saw a similar BMW with a toyota 1j or 2j not sure which being loaded on a recovery sent for exhaust to be fabricated.
So guys watch out for these Sleeeper BMW's :|

dude your E30 is off the hook! i love it. hope to see it running someday. by the way, ive seen an article in the net about an E30 sporting a 2JZ GTE engine and pushing 800hp at the rear wheels. that is also a good option.
