All this planning will just postpone the Meet even more, Just specify a certain Time and Meeting spot on Mamzar beach road..
and whoever's free on Thursday night just go there and park and wait to see how many turn up

Keep doing the same thing every thursday.. the number of members will grow every week im sure, And then you guys can plan on what to do each week (Drives, etc) according to the Turnout.

i strongly agree with tribal..lets do the meet up as said date..this Thursday..

Well I never been to a meet. But if AceOfSpades will come all the way from Abu Dhabi then why should I be lazy to go from Dubai! If only for a photo-op and a chat and a small drive that would be a worth a meet already.

WHERE: Mamzar, near Filli Cafe

WHAT: Meet and greet and possible drive to Al Ain if there are enough number of interested members

WHY: because we've not had a meet since ages.... heck, some of us havent even met yet!!!


AND ITS HAPPENING.... even if there are just 2 or 3 cars.... this 'unofficial' meet is all about bringing meets back to life... so dont worry about the turnout like Tribal said.... instead of 'letting it happen', try 'making it happen'

PS: even though its an 'unofficial' meet, members must ensure that they do not commit any traffic violation throughout the meet.... this forum doesnt deserve a bad name as such.... and getting the cops attention is the last thing that anyone would want

Post your car model next to your names & colour to avoid driving past members and not being able to find them, and one person who knows the place properly go there a little early and post ur contact number over here.. so others can call you for directions, etc.
