Whatever you want to call it. What would you call a place filled with show cars whilst the Autocross goin' on in the background at the same time?

As far as I know, we're not ghosts. :) Oh, even ghosts could see each other (if there's a theory to that.) Meets are thereby held to know each other. Some of us have already met many times at our earlier meets, while few others would be strangers even to me. So, it doesn't really matter as long as we get to meet each other.

A waste of potential good cars. If that's the show part or the autocross part is up to everybody to decide :)

Junonony, on the parking will be the "nicely lined cars", the track will be "nicely cared lines" :)

I really don't know what makes you say that but hey, everyone's got their opinion about the way they see things.

Hi boys,

I have just been informed by EMSF (late as always!) that the date and time for the AutoX has been moved to Thursday night at 9pm.

Emirates Auto Cross Championship – Round 5

Date : 28 September, 2006

Day : Thursday

Venue : Dubai Autodrome Turn 16

Time : Registration open from 2100 hrs

Number of runs : 3 per driver

This means that we will probably have to move the meet up to Thursday as well.

AutoX is a good entry level sport so perhaps if there is enough slots, you guys should try and participate. Yes you can participate in any car - stock or modified, even supras and skylines. Entry fees for Novices are 100AED for the 3 runs (+100AED for membership i think)

Secondly, it will also a good op. to see the facilities of the Dubai Autodrome and the F1 standard track. The AutoX layout is within the main track at turn 16.

For directions on how to get there check out http://www.dubaiautodrome.com

As per the above threads - lets also try and behave ourselves by not doing burnouts, drags etc. Otherwise they wont let you anywhere near the track again!

See you all there..........
