Hellooooo fellow boosters.
I will be setting up a training day for drifting at Al Forsan Club Abu Dhabi within the upcoming 2-5weeks.
I was just wondering if any of you guys would be interested in going sideways for a couple of hours on a Friday/Saturday.
Prices per person will depend on how many people are participating in the event
Food and drinks will be available on site.
Right now i'm trying to get a rough figure on how many people are interested in this kind of thing and are willing to do this weekly.
State your name what kind of car you will be participating in.
Oh and guys please please please only RWD's, Those who have AWD's that are strong enough to drift in then by all means come.
Please give me some feedback as soon as you guys can,
Thanks

Well I have an FF so too bad.
How does an ordinary joe practice drifting anyway? Do you use your normal all-seasons tires that you commute with? Or have a spare set of tires/wheels that are cheap and old?

Oh I always wanted to learn to drift! But sadly I have a FF car, and Im taking summer at uni..
can you please give me the details (regulations and conditions) and the prices for private sessions?
Is it possible to rent a car from there? You know, a specially tuned drift car!

This will be a private event, No cars you can rent or special drift cars. People bring they're own cars minor mods or moded to oblivion up to them. Its just a simple training session on a parking lot track setup.
More for training purposes rather than hardcore drifts.
Theres not enough space to acomodate high speed drifts.

FF can actually drift. It's not going to be a long graceful drift, it's going to be an inertial/handbrake induced spin around a tight radius. Good for getting around hairpins I would believe. Ofcourse I haven't tried it myself. Someone give me used tires and a tire changing machine and I'll let you know...
