Pay ofcourse, fantastic discount if you ask me. If I had a track-worthy car, I'd certainly go.

Sign-up now, but only if you know you can make it. It's AED 300 per person only if there are a minimum of 15 cars.

I'll update this thread as and when the other car clubs get updates.

Yes. We're all in the newbie session, which is technically the same as the advanced group, with the exception of some rules, such as no overtaking. Still, the newbie session is more fun as there are more cars than the advanced session.

It will start at 17:00 (first cars on the track at around 18:10)

Calling all armchair/street racers, time to put your right foot forward and see if you have what it takes on the Track!

Cost:
More than 10 cars - AED420 each (30% off) (if you need a helmet, Rent one for AED 50)
15 cars or more - AED300 each (50% off)
Passengers - AED50 each, Registered Novice drivers can ride free with an Advanced driver
Helmet hire - AED50 (Helmets are mandatory)
For those wishing to hire the services of an Instructor, the cost is AED300 for a 20min session (well worth the money). Please indicate if you wish to have this service.

Track Evening Schedule:

5.00 – Arrival – Race Administration (Prompt Arrival please)
6.00 – Briefing Covering Basics (Lines, Hands etc) - Mandatory, without which you won't be allowed to participate
6.10 – First Session (Group A Advanced) + additional theory for beginners
6.30 – Familiarization Laps (Group B New Comers)
6.40 – First Session (Group B New Comers)
7.00 – Second Session (Group A Advanced)
7.20 – Second Session (Group B New Comers)
7.40 – Third Session (Group A Advanced)
8.00 – Third Session (Group B Newcomers)

Remember:
1) No powerslides/drifting
2) If this is your first track day, you'll be enrolled in the Novice Group, which means no passengers and no drifting/powerslides
3) Bring plenty of liquids
4) We'll most probably have our own pit garage to park the cars, unload loose items, and keep our tools, accessories and cooler boxes

Gents/Ladies,

It does not matter what car you drive i.e. Tiida, Maxima, Jazz (sadly no 4x4's are allowed) etc, its all about having fun on a Race Track in a very safe environment.

Ozi has posted all of the details, however, when you are on the Track, you will be watched at all times by the Clerk of the Course, who, if he sees you being silly and endangering other cars, he will KICK YOU OUT (no refund).

Its a very, very cheap way of having some fun, getting together with similar Petrolheads, and testing your car (rather than bragging about it on a Forum hiding behind your monitor! hahahahaha).

These events really are a lot of fun.
