Track Morning on the 30th of September, 2011 - Club Circuit

The previous track evening (details of which can be found in the link below) was a massive success with a huge turnout, so here's the next one. Thank you Dubai Autodrome for extending the discounts till September!

Cost:

More than 10 cars - AED420 each (30% off) (if you need a helmet, Rent one for AED 50)
15 cars or more - AED300 each (50% off)
Passengers - AED50 each, Registered Novice drivers can ride free with an Advanced driver
Helmet hire - AED50 (Helmets are mandatory)
For those wishing to hire the services of an Instructor, the cost is AED300 for a 20min session (well worth the money). Please indicate if you wish to have this service.

Track Morning Schedule:

Remember:

1) No powerslides/drifting
2) If this is your first track day, you'll be enrolled in the Novice Group, which means no passengers and no drifting/powerslides
3) Bring plenty of liquids
4) We'll most probably have our own pit garage to park the cars, unload loose items, and keep our tools, accessories and cooler boxes

It's first come first serve, and we can have a maximum of 20 per group. If we exceed this, the others will have to be on standby in case someone drops out (1 or 2 usually do). You will be joined by drivers from the BMWClub, Honda Club and Evolve.

If you're sure you can make it, post your name with the details or PM them to me; remember, incomplete entries won't be added to the list. Only add it if you know you can make it!

I prefer morning runs but there are more people signed up for the evening session!

If you think about it, if 15 or more cars turn up for both events i.e. 9 and 30 September, then you will pay the same as you woyld do for 1 normally priced Track Event.

I simply cannot make the 30th due to me being 20-30m under the ocean surface!

Guys,

Can people please start putting names down for the 30th September Track Morning.

I would like to send a list to DA so that we can at least make sure all those wanting to participate have a slot.

I would like to send the list to DA on 15 September 2011.

This is the last Track Event where we get the Summer Discount, so lets make it a good one.

Novice group is now FULL.

Only persons who qualify to enter the Internediate/Advanced group i.e. done 1 or more track days previously at DA can be considered.

Full? Well that's ok, I'm in a racing slump anyway. Trying to improve my multiple downshift and it's so confusing I lost to a BMW (M5? or something similar?) on a Sheik Zayed Road ramp! The indignity!

May show up to watch this time, since I missed last time's.

^^^^^^^^ I have sent your details to DA - they know you are on the waiting list for Novice group, HOWEVER, I would suggest that you be there before 08:30 as we could move up a few of the Honda boys (who have done a few Track Events AND they know who they are hahahahahahaha) into the Intermediate Group.

You just have to be nice to them.

PLEASE ALL make sure you have plenty of petrol - 80mins of hard driving will drain the tanks

I'm glad you enjoyed yourself bud! Are you in for the next event, on the 14th? Details on evolve, but not sure of the discounts as their prices were valid till the 30th of September
