It's from 4 to 6pm this Friday. AED 50 for participating, free to attend, open to public.

That's all I know for now. Does anyone else have any more information regarding this, and is anyone going?

I dunno, I've never been to one TBH. Figured it would be fun and I'd get to meet friends. Too bad the weather sucks.

LOL its really ironic Dubai Police is part of the modified car show, when they actually hunt cars with engine modification and slap fines on them .! lolz i think this is an entrapment operation lolz so that they can gather plates on who to hunt on the roads after the event LOL.

lolz wait im gonna take a look at the poster again there might be a really small print there that says "contestants can only do exterior modifications, all those who entered with cold air intake, ECU, turbos and exhaust system will be disqualified and fined" :) LOL

Dubai police have been organizing modified car shows for years now. No one has ever received any fines(none to our knowledge), no matter how heavily modified the cars are that come to the shows. Maybe a warning at most for rowdy behavior.

yes you should be...my advice...keep the headlights and height to a decent or oem look...thts what draws the attention...intakes are a big NO NO...especially in shj.
i got fined last night for my height...and im rolling on 16"s
he was fining a pinoy with a white FD for xenons when he saw me...initally they stopped me for headlights...moved on to my height

was a young officer so spoke a little of the civic language
convinced him tht its legit so he left me off with a fine for tinting...and a sticker on the car
