Those tyres shouldn't be 1300 each. They can be only that much if they are RFT (Run Flat Tyres). However, Yellow hat are not all that expensive. I got a sweet deal for my Nittos.
Rim Guards are found on some tyres to save the wheels from curb rash. There is a fat spot of rubber running around the tires on the side wall to save the edge of the rim. I had them on the last set of Bridgestone Potenza on the fronts only.

Yellow hat couldnt be that expensive.
I had my rims and tires from MSW.
Due to the time i had visited them(closing time), they send me directly to Hankook showroom to get and install the tires and rims. But the payment was made at MSW. They got me the Hankook S1 evo (225/40/18) for AED 500 each... Last year I went to get another set and the best price Hankook showroom offered was AED 650.
However six months later when yellow hat opened up and i checked the price of the rims it was atleast AED 100 less per rim than MSW.
Many items in yellow hat are very competitevly priced.
The best tire i have used so far is Hankook S1 evo. Then Sumitomo and Toyo. This feedback is based on the grip and handling.
I gues Al Futtaim is handling TOYO

Well just getting the tires might not justify the shipping price he has to bear while getting it from U.Swek-236 wrote:alexEF wrote:^ thanks man... i send an email to al futtain 2 days back and until now i didnt receive anything from them...

By the way I have ordered 19 inches rims with tires fitted and balanced from tirerack yesterday. Looking forward to receive it soon.
And my rims will be on sale after that.

Around $305.
Tats good price considering the weight must be around 100KGs..
Dividing $300 by 8 it comes down to less than AED 137 per tire and rim... I am sure I wouldnt find a decent 19 inch tires for 600 bucks.
