Noise from right front suspension

Hey guys, i've got a 2006 Civic and recently happened to hear a strange sound from the right front suspension whenever i hit a bump. Is it the engine mount or the suspensions, or is it normal for a Civic. Appreciate your help ppl....thanx.

It's a thud like sound, sort of metal hitting something...

Control arm bushings most probably. A common problem with FD's.

I've got the control arm bushings replaced a week back but the soundz still there.....I'm sorry but what do you mean by ' is my car stock' ?

Could be anything from tranny/engine mounts, steering knuckles, joints to even a loose lug nut!

'Usually' mounts are noisy when abruptly accelerating, steering components while turning and loose lug nuts in constant speed etc...

Do you think it could be the tires as i'm currently using a 205/65/R15 instead of the 195/65/R15 specified

oh, back on topic. yeah, i also hear weird sounds from the front suspension of my car. i haven't heard that sound for a while until it rained recently.

what's the mileage of your car, by the way?

Yeah, i start hearing the same sound in my car after a good underbody carwash.. I assume its a bursted bush.. Did you send your car flying on a speed bump or hit a kerb? cuz thats what happened in my case.

Yeah i've got 15" rims and its an LXI

Am thinking of getting the front suspensions replaced with used ones....what do you think, as i am still not sure about the source of that sound ?
